On Tuesday, Narasimha Rao addressed that a tri colour Freedom Walk will be organized on January 26 on Beach Road as part of the celebrations and will be gathered by a great number of people. He also exclaimed that tri-colour T-shirts will be distributed among all the participants who enroll their names in advance. He urged that his intention was to arouse national feeling among the youth.
A musical night with patriotism as the main theme will be organized from 5 pm on both these days. He informed that the musical night and other performances will be attended by celebrities and well-known artists.
He also said that a fancy dress competition on patriotic theme will be organized on January 26 and 27 from 3 pm to 6 p.m to encourage and engage children and their parents.
Post Sankranti commemoration, BJP Rajya Sabha member G.V.L. Narasimha Rao will be organising Republic Day Utsav with a great pomp on 26 and 27 at the RK Beach here.
Shri Narasimha Rao, along with former MLA P Vishnu Kumar Raju and BJP district president Medpati Ravindra, unveiled the poster and audio-visual teaser of the Republic Day festival.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the inspiration behind organizing such apolitical programs to promote culture and inculcate good morals among the youth.
